Millette Núñez dabbled in yoga for years before finally surrendering to it in 2009: “It was never a question of whether or not yoga was beneficial. I always knew the value of this discipline in terms of conditioning the mind and body, but when I began to feel the changes taking place in me I was hooked!” Today Millette practices regularly and attributes this consistency to the amazing teachers she has encountered on her path. Because of the way yoga altered her life, and the positive difference it made in all aspects of her being, she decided to spread her love of the practice by becoming an instructor herself. Millette has studied yoga in India, Europe and Brazil and went on to receive her 200 hour certification through Lotus Gardens in Connecticut in 2011. A Spanish teacher by profession, Millette understands the importance of working with students at their level while simultaneously pushing them to further their skills. Focusing on Vinyasa yoga, and often using music in class to get students motivated, Millette provides attentive instruction for any practitioner, from the beginner to the advanced.
